In recent years home exercise has become more of a rarity. Workouts are things that are associated with paid gym memberships, group outings or sports teams.

For a lot of people, if it wasn’t for all the money they dished out to get to one of a dozen treadmills at their local fitness club they likely wouldn’t get any workout at all.

So in reality what is a fad diet? It’s a heavily promoted diet with some strange ideas on how to lose weight in an impossible and unhealthy manner, usually by consuming nothing more than one food like a cabbage.
